SMS Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Berkeley Chapel of the Flowers text messaging program for direct Chapel, venue, and proprietor communications.

Information we collect and use

We collect participating recipients’ mobile numbers, consent records, message content, delivery information, and related request details. We use this information only to operate, secure, and improve Chapel communications and to respond to recipients.

Sharing

Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent records, is not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose information to service providers that help deliver and operate the program, when required by law, or to protect the Chapel, its visitors, and its systems.

Retention and choices

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for event coordination, recordkeeping, security, and legal obligations. Reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for assistance.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with the recipient’s requests and Chapel activity and is typically 0–20 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
